OUR COMMITTEES
For a better tomorrow..

HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL
The United Nations Human Rights Council was first formed in 2006, and it consists of 47 members. The council is responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of the human rights globally. It is also responsible in addressing any situations in which human rights are being violated. The committee aims to target various areas of human rights and without any discrimination, from the refugee rights, to women’s rights and even prisoners’ rights.

SECURITY COUNCIL
This council is one of the most important and most powerful council in the UN, which has the “primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security.” In short, in this council debaters will represent their country in topics related to international relations and peace threatening events; all with the aim of maintaining an everlasting armistice. In this peacekeeping council, debaters will argue their point in the most controversial and political topics where the power of the Vito is strong.

INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT
The International Criminal Court (ICC) is a permanent international court established to investigate, prosecute and try individuals accused of committing the most serious crimes of concern to the international community as a whole, namely the crime of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The General Assembly is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations and is the only council in which all the 139 members have equal representation. The General Assembly aims to maintain international peace and security through discussing essential topics represented by international political cooperation, threats to peace and economic development, in addition to a wide range of social and humanitarian issues that are within the scope of the Charter of the United Nations.
